How the Journey Began
OddYSSEY formed over the course of the
decade between 2010 - 2020,
through a variety of poems, lectures, essays,
platforms, and photo collages assembled
by Founder and CEO LaShawn Woolridge.
In Rock Hill, South Carolina at alma mater
Winthrop University, LaShawn chartered
"Def Poet's Society" in 2012-2018
as a constructive platform for poetry
and public service announcements
on campus and at local community events
in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Platforms & Stairs
After moving to Atlanta in 2016,
LaShawn was provided the opportunity to continue a traditional open mic,
re-branded as "Authentic Thoughts & Language" .
Shortly after attending a National Poetry Conference,
"The Open Floor" was founded as a video-based poetry channel
highlighting local businesses and talent,
in addition to interviews on "Famous Enough Podcast" and
"Native Tongues" showcases, co-hosted platforms featuring professionals
of franchised businesses, art galleries, annual conferences, and independent catalogs of work, that highlight the impacts of Daily Language, Visual Art, Business Practices, Safe Environments, Mental Wellness, Networking,
and Independent Education Programs, that support Local Government and International Relations, nurturing both the producer and recipients who carry out the impact of communication work in their every day lives.

In 2020, the world experienced a shift in maintaining connections, while documenting the unwritten changes in processing language, interpersonal skills, and interactions via technology.
With fundamental knowledge and methods, several business owners, educators,
and public speakers took note of the adjustments occurring throughout the transition to remote work, future planning, virtual forms of entertainment, and the influx of mass communication cohesion and discord occurring due to a variety of technological advancements and remote learning.

and Theatre: Visual and Performance Art.
Throughout the journey LaShawn has developed a strong professional background, concurrently supporting
S.T.E.M., Fine Arts, and Communications prior to leading her own businesses.

LaShawn worked with CaterVerse, LLC.
on business brand kits, event coverage, and
National Conferences;
in addition to Non-Profit Organizational work with
Black Ink Monks, Inc., Guerilla Poets, Inc.,
and other world-renowned venues and features.
In 2020, under the pseudonym "Alex Ondraya"
LaShawn published "Altars and Affirmations"
a series of essays and poems regarding mental wellness,
civic leadership, and community empowerment.
In 2023, she was selected as a Grant Panelist for the
City of Atlanta, Mayor's Office of Arts and Cultural Affairs.

risk management challenges to retain essentials,
restructure data, and advance innovative ideas
